It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce (Bolick) Sims of Shallotte, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on January 19, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Eugene Bolick and Fanny Queen Bolick; her husband Glenn "Jeep" Sims; her daughter Chris "Dee" Boyd; and her brother Bobby Bolick.
She is survived by: her sister Margaret Setzer of Newton; her sons, Eric Sims (Carla) of Claremont, Jody Sims (Beth) of Conover and Kelly Sims (Amy) of Mtn View; her grandchildren, Danielle Graves (Matt) of Shallotte, Eric Eason of Claremont, Ethan Sims and Bailey Sims of Conover; and her great grandchildren, Reese Graves and Chelsea Graves of Shallotte.
