With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hollen Edward Groff (Shallotte, North Carolina), who passed away on February 7, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollen Groff and Edna Groff (Withrow); his sisters, Virginia and Doris; and his son Gordon.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Anne Groff; his son Hollen Mark (Rosanne); his grandson Hollen Matthew (Kristan); his great grandchildren, Taylor and Will; his daughter Karen McClain (Michael); his granddaughter Brea Griffith (Chris); and his daughter Diane Groff (LeAnn Hinson).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Hollen to Camp United Methodist Church or Public Broadcast System.
