He was predeceased by: his parents, Covington Hewett and Mollie Evans Hewett; and his grandson Robert Wayne Beck, Jr.. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Robin Johnson (Donas), Patrick Hewett (Rachel), Skye Simmons (Vallory) and Holly Simmons; and his great grandchildren, Joshua Green, Ava Beck, Hunter Simmons, Luke Simmons and Makenzie Simmons (Bella).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte Chapel (5229 Ocean Hwy W, Shallotte, NC 28470).
