She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Carter Evans and Bertha Hewett Evans; and her siblings, Herman Evans, W. C. Evans, Lillian Louise Evans and Geneva E. Hewett.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan H. Rutter (Doug); her grandchildren, Dr. William Wesley Hickman (Ashley) and Olivia Caroline Rutter; her great grandchild William Wesley "Will" Hickman, Jr.; her sisters-in-law, Christine Hewett Hewett and Gracie Hewett Evans; and her close friend Betty Clemmons. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
