He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lloyd Leonard and Elva Pauline Grissett Leonard; his wife Marie Hewett Leonard; his daughter Janice Leonard; and his siblings, Lloyd Ethridge Leonard (Buddy), Joyce Leonard Skeen and Dorit Leonard Teeters.
He is survived by: his sons, Danny Leonard of Tarpon Springs, FL and Don Leonard (Patricia) of Calabash; his siblings, Sammie Leonard (Betty) of Calabash and Shelby Leonard Rourk of Shallotte; and his brother-in-law Tom Teeters of Boone, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Liberty and Home Health Hospice or the Humane Society.
