It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edna Eugenia Okey (Shallotte, North Carolina), who passed away on February 9, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Christine Anderson; her parents, Edna Okey Paschal and Joe Okey; and her siblings, Joe Okey, Jr., Lou Tutterow and Josephine Phillips.
She is survived by: her son Alan Trojan (Nancy) of Sunset Beach, NC; her granddaughter Stephanie Cutler (Ian); and her great grandchild Cameron Cutler of Bountiful. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in Jean's name to your favorite charity, church, or arts council near you, or to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (formerly Women's College- North Carolina University).
