He was predeceased by: his parents, John Philip and Addie Scurry Kauffman. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Amyx Kauffman; his children, Debra Alewine (Joe) and Don Kauffman, Jr. (Jennifer) of Greer, SC; his grandchildren, Brittany, Tristin, Grace, James and Will; and his great grandchildren, Arianna, Elora and Reggie.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Shallotte Presbyterian Church (5070 Mh Rourk Dr, Shallotte, NC 28470).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Shallotte Presbyterian Audio Visual Committee so the ministry he loved can continue and grow.
