She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edwin Alston and Dottie Alston; her sons, Nathan (Ashley) of Shallotte, Aaron of Wilmington and Jacob (Mary Britt) of Raleigh; her granddaughter Margot Ferguson; and her siblings, Chris Alston, Amy Mather (Jason) of Raleigh, Ed Alston (Shelley) and David (April) of Raleigh. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

The in person service will not be social distanced and the family encourages you to wear a mask. There will be rooms where social distancing will be available and the service will be live streamed.
