She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Brooks and Helen McDowell Brooks; and her siblings, Patti Dumm, Eileen Sharpe, Jan Nicholson, Beverly Cascell and Guy Brooks.

She is survived by: her husband Percy Woodard; her sons, Randy Woodard (Frances) of Charleston, SC and Jason Woodard (Felicia) of Supply; her siblings, Mikki Perry (Hayes) of Wilmington, NC, Angela Egas (Diego) of Hahira, GA, Mary Farabee (Bill) of Alexandria, VA and Norman Brooks (Connie) of Wilmington, NC; and her grandchildren, Josh, Decator, Hailey, Katelyn, Ethan, Reese, Jacob and Oliver.
