He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Kopitzke; and his son Chris Kopitzke. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kristen Hunter (Ben), Brandon Edgell (Jordan), Breanna Boehringer and Megan Kopitzke.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family suggests a donation to Mutts with a Mission–one of the organizations he was most passionate about.
