Brittany Marie Rivers Obituary
Shallotte, NC – Brittany Marie Rivers, 27, died Friday, May 10, 2019, at New Hanover County Regional Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at The Cutshaw Family Cemetery, 994 Jacky Bayne Road, Indian Land, SC 29707 with Pastor Buddy Ray Cutshaw officiating. Everyone is encouraged to bring a lawn chair.
The family will receive friends following the service. A native of York County, Brittany was a daughter of Kimberly Murray MacKinnon and David Yarborough, Jr. She will be remembered as a loving mother, daughter, and sister who was devoted to her family. She was employed by Walmart for seven years and was a hard worker. In addition to her parents, Brittany is survived by two children, John-Brooks Hall Duncan, II and Haven Anjell Parker-Duncan; Maternal grandparents, Pamela Rivers and Kenneth Rivers (Tina); paternal grandmother, Patricia Yarborough; a brother, Zachary Rivers; three sisters, Kelsey Duncan, Danielle Yarborough, and Summer Yarborough; a maternal uncle, Keith Rivers; two maternal aunts, Angel Rivers and Michelle Rivers; two paternal aunts, Tammy Crabtree and Michelle Blackwelder; a niece, Sadie Tucker; a nephew, Johnny Parker; and her god-mother, Heather Duncan.
