She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bell Stanley and Katherine Emma Benton (Kate); and her husband Mitchell S. McCoy. She is survived by: her children, Gloria M. Mintz (John) of Shallotte and Colin M. McCoy (Penny) of Shallotte; her sister Catherine S. Gates of Shallotte; her grandchildren, Keith Brown (Linda) of Albuquerque, NM, Sherman Brown (Theresa) of Littleton, NH, Catheryn Robertson (Kevin) of Shallotte, Jody Grainger (Willie) and Daniel McCoy of Supply; her great grandchild Jason McCoy (Kristen); her grandchildren, Megan Horkavy (Tyler) of Benson, Zachary Brown (Jamie) of Searey, AR, Samuel Brown of Pensacola Beach, FL, Rebekah Brown, Sarah Brown of Albuquerque, NM and Mattie Robertson of Shallotte; and her great great grandchildren, Alayna McCoy and Kadence McCoy.
