It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Lou Johnson King (Shallotte, North Carolina), born in Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on April 1, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas Johnson and Lula Johnson; her husband James "Jim" Franklin King, Jr; her children, James "Jimmy" M. King (Karen) and Vickie King of Boone, NC; her siblings, Frank Johnson (Margaret) of Fuquay Varina, NC and Elizabeth Peterson of Bellefontaine, OH; and her granddaughter Linzy Cook. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
