She was predeceased by: her parents, Clement W. Hughes, Jr. and Allison Bennett Hughes. She is survived by: her husband John E. Watkins; her son Bo Watkins (Andrea) of Shallotte; her grandchildren, Zen, Ellis and Elliott; and her niece Sydney Carlisle (Darin) of Cameron, NC.
