It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Lynn Langston Sr. of Shallotte, North Carolina, born in Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on July 29, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Albert Langston and Hazel Howard Langston; his daughter Angela Lynn Langston; and his brother Albert Ray Langston. He is survived by: his sons, Alan Lynn Langston, Jr. and George "Matthew" Langston; his granddaughters, Ella, Morgan, Tresa, Talan and Hailey; and his siblings, Sandra Langston Kinney (Joel), Janet Odom and Howard "Wayne" Langston.
