He is survived by: his wife Billie Karner of Westport, CT; his sons, Erik Karner of Ocala, FL and Craig Karner of North Haven, CT; his brother Urmas Karner (Karin Annus-Karner) of Chappaqua, NY; his siblings-in-law, Beatrice Heuler and Bruce Heuler of Shallotte, NC; his close friends, Juri and Krista Tassa; and his godson Jaani Tassa of White Stone, NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
