He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Oliver and Louise Garner Holmes; and his brother Roy Holmes. He is survived by: his wife Elda Coker Holmes; his daughters, Belinda Parker (Kay) of Mount Olive, Julie Holmes of Seven Springs and Tommy Kornegay of Albertson; his brothers, Harry "Bud" Holmes (Joyce) of Virginia, Keith Westbrook (Alice) of Mount Olive, Arnold Flowers (Gloria) of Seven Springs and Russell Teller (Donna) of New Jersey; his grandchildren, Nicole Willis and Brandon Parker; and his great grandchildren, Taylor Theriac and Camden Willis.
