He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Mossberg and Lola Mossberg; and his siblings, Linda Starck, Alice Sue Tharpe, Roland Earl Mossberg, Jr. and Roger Dail Horne.
He is survived by: his wife Laurie Mossberg; his children, Kristen Goyette (Keith) of Kinston, Samantha Jo of Wisconsin, Darcie Lee of Kinston, Timmy Eric Mossberg (Heather) of Pink Hill and Christopher Shane Mossberg of Deep Run; and his siblings, Debbie Emery of Weymouth and James Keith Mossberg (Zoe) of Seven Springs. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Howard - Carter Funeral Home (1608 W Vernon Ave, Kinston, NC 28504).
