He was predeceased by: his parents, Josiah Dempsey Lane and Gladys Best Lane. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca E. "Becky" Lane; his children, David Lane, Bobby Lane (Melissa), Randy Kyle Lane (Amanda), Julie Czanik (Ron) and Glenda Warren (Lee); his sister Ann Smith; and his niece Teresa Williams. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
