He is survived by: his wife Peggy Morris Rouse; his children, John L. Rouse, Jr. (Monica) and Peggy Joyce Rouse, Jr.; his granddaughter Campbell Brooke Rouse; and his sisters, Marjorie R. Knight (Dan) and Lynda Rouse Price (Nelson). He is also survived by his twin; and ten nieces and nephews.
