He was predeceased by: his wife Mavis Rouse; his granddaughter Kaitlyn Rouse; and his siblings, Weldon Rouse, Ernie Rouse, Marvin Rouse and Carrie Elizabeth Outlaw.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Rouse Hinson and Shannon Rouse-Ruiz; his grandchildren, Kristin Miller (Jonathan), Shane Williams (Alaina), Amber Rouse, Christian Ruiz (Laken Stotler) and Jordan Ruiz; his great grandchildren, Nieves, Adam Rouse, Gabriel Nieves, Hayden Rose Williams and John Asher Miller; and his siblings, Willie Rouse, David Rouse, Spot Rouse, Bob Rouse, Edna Smith and Ellie Latimer.
