He is survived by: his wife Shirley Boyd; his son Kelvin Raper (Dana); his grandchildren, Matthew Raper and Kayla Barnes; his great grandchildren, Aiden and Sloan Barnes; and his brother Richard Boyd. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Seymour Funeral Home (1300 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534).
