He was predeceased by: his parents, Alverine Townsend and Adgie Shreve Townsend. He is survived by: his wife Helen Townsend; his children, Thomas Townsend, Jr. of Medina, OH, Cathleen Townsend of Canaan, OH and Gregory Townsend (Renee); his grandson Corbin of Henderson, NV.; and his sister Barbara Summerfield of Ocala, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
