He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie E. Sommers and Ethel King Sommers; his son Rodger Sommers; and his sisters, Irma Pestar, Janet Judd and Inez Molloy.
He is survived by: his spouse Beverley Sommers; his children, Stephen Sommers, Jennifer Sommers, Nicole Lynne Sommers and Mary Beth Gomez; his grandchildren, Mary Burdick, Lily Gomez, Jake Gomez and Zach Gomez; and his brother Michael Sommers (Patricia). He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Les' memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or to a charity of one's choice.
