She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Jerome Loney; and her brothers, Harold Thomas and Royce Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Jan Badgett Smith (Brian) of Sanford and Ben Badgett of Sanford; her sisters, Barbara Maddox (Robert) of Sanford, Linda Roper (Jim) of Fuquay-Varina and Cheryl Owings (Don) of Carolina Lakes; her sisters-in-law, Shirley Thomas and Phyllis Thomas; and her grandchildren, Virginia Smith, William Smith and Mary Thomas Smith.
The family will also receive visitors after the memorial service at the home of Brian and Jan Smith.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the West End United Methodist Church or to FirstHealth Hospice and Palliative Care.
