He is survived by: his father Vincent; his wife Jean McCuen Downer; his mother Paula of Greensboro; his daughters, Katelin of Burlington, MA and Kendall of Pittsburgh, PA; and his brothers, Glenn (Pattie), Doug (Shelly) and Carl (Vickie Nylander). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
