She was predeceased by: her brothers, Jeffrey Lewis Abrams and Martin Andrew Abrams; her father-in-law Richard L. Buckingham; and her sister-in-law Lynda J. Buckingham. She is survived by: her husband David Buckingham of Seven Lakes; her children, Gary, Mark, Kevin (Sheree) and Elesa Kim Buckingham; her grandsons, Nathaniel and Payton; her siblings, Donna Ethel Abrams and Timothy Abrams; her mother-in-law Arlys Buckingham; and her siblings-in-law, Craig (Sharon) and Janet Peartree.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to a no-kill animal shelter of your choosing or you could purchase a book for a child to foster Christy's love of reading or The National Kidney Foundation.
