She was predeceased by: her stepmother Jane Hodge. She is survived by: her husband Chip Carpenter; her daughter Hannah Lassiter; her stepfather Sam Phillips of Carthage; her father Mills Hodge of Seven Lakes; her stepson Carpenter; her siblings, Karen Pruett (Jim) of Cameron and Bill Hodge (Colleen); and her stepsiblings, Michelle Callicut (Ransom) of Carthage and Mitch Phillips (Beth) of Denver, CO. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

For the protection and safety of others during the Covid pandemic a private memorial service will be held at Glendon Christian Church.
