He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Cole Bright; his children, Gary Hahn (Terri), Jeff Bright (Lisa), Scott Hahn, Laura Huntley (John) and Brian Schmidt; and his brother Carl "Junior" Bright, Jr..
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McGhees Mill Baptist Church (9000 McGhees Mill Rd, Semora, NC 27343). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
