With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwendolyn Claiborne of Semora, North Carolina, who passed away on June 26, 2021 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father J. W. Pulliam; her siblings, Reginald Pulliam and Annette Pulliam; her grandparents, Martha Chambers, John Earl and Vernell Pulliam; and her uncles, Coolidge Chambers, Gene Arthur Chambers and Thee Chambers.
She is survived by: her husband Nathan Claiborne; her children, Donte Pulliam of Semora, Antonio McGhee of Semora and Jasmine Medley of Roxboro; her granddaughters, Toni McGhee of Roxboro, Xyion Pulliam of Roxboro, Aubrey McGhee of Roxboro, Ava McGhee of Roxboro, Allie Bumphus of Roxboro and Faith Bennett; her mother Mary Chambers Pulliam; her brother Ray Pulliam (Charleta) of Roxboro; her nephews, Anthony Durrelle Featherstone (Keisha) of Durham, NC, Ray Pulliam, Jr. (Catarina) of Cary, NC and Marcus Pulliam (Haley) of Roxboro; her niece Andrea P. Braswell (Leonardo) of Creedmoor, NC; her aunts and uncles, Jerry Chambers (Linda) of Roxboro, Donald Chambers (Della) of Timberlake, NC, Aubrey Stewart of Roxboro, Josephine Chambers of Semora, Susanne Chambers of Semora, Susie Earl Pulliam of Raleigh, NC and Stella P. Woody of Durham; and her brothers-in-law, Lawrence Claiborne and Sylvester Claiborne. She is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews, cousins, other additional relatives and friends.
