He is survived by: his children, Pam Whitt (Joey) of Semora, Katrina Jones (Matthew) of Ruffin and George Trent Jr. (Dorothy) of Vernon Hill, VA; his brothers, Ernest Trent of King Mountain, John Trent (Linda) of Martinsville, VA and Richard Trent (Sylvia) of Dry Fork, VA; his grandchildren, Ashley Yarbrough (Brian), Joe Whitt (Jessica), Jessie Crabtree (William), Mikayla Jones, Thomas Jones, Alexis Jones, Samantha Trent, Monica Martin (Garrette), Christopher Trent (Kay), Kaitlyn Trent and Elizabeth Trent; and his great grandchildren, Clark Yarbrough, Liam Yarbrough, Scarlett Yarbrough, Bailey Whitt, Savannah Whitt, Arron Martin and McKenna Grace Martin.
