She was predeceased by: her parents, Ned Garland and Etta Childs Garland; her husband Olander M. Hamlett; and her sons, Larry Hamlett and Erwin Hamlett (Tammy).
She is survived by: her children, Corliss Hamlett of Semora, Leon Michael Hamlett (Joyce) of Durham and Calvin Hamlett (Florence) of Semora; and her sister-in-law Mildred Parker of Long Beach, California. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
