He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bryant and Nannie Belle Roberts Watson; his son Robert Michalec; his siblings, William Bryant Watson, Jr. and Peggy Ruth; and his granddaughter Ashley Michalec.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Chorvat Watson; his children, Chester Watson, Ronnie Watson, Donna Mosley, Patrick Michalec and Catherine Crabtree; and his sister Charlotte Kidd Baynard. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
