He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Adams Cavalier; his children, Joseph Cavalier (Heather) of Woodsdale, Catherine Boyd (Weston) of Elkridge, MD and Ashley Brooke Cavalier of Semora; his siblings, Steve Cavalier (Cheryl) of Semora, Diana Jenney (John) and Holly Cavalier (Randy Harrill) of Raleigh; and his grandchildren, Ean Cavalier, Emilia Boyd and Adelyn Boyd.
