He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John Bonton Whitt, Duffenna Green Jennings (Michael) and Gary Bragg; and his uncle Gary "Tweety" Bragg, Jr.. He is survived by: his parents, Stephen Joseph Whitt and Kimberly Ann Bragg Whitt; his wife Ashlee Haden Whitt; his children, Katie Lynn Whitt, Macie Jo Whitt and Chad Stephen Whitt, Jr.; his grandmother Alice Faye Whitt of Roxboro; his sister Taylor Whitt Elliott (Spencer) of Halifax; his nephew Spencer Cole Elliott, Jr.; his niece Sadie Elliott; and his parents-in-law, Curtis and Lisa Haden of Roxboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
