With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carlton Lawson Maddux of Semora, North Carolina, born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on September 17, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Lawson A. Maddux; his former wife Margaret; his mother Maggie Viola Castle (William P. Bradshaw); and his siblings, Josey Walker Rodgers, Madeline Ireland, Patsy Smith, Essie Mae Maddux and Doug Maddux.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Susan Lamb Maddux; and his daughters, Marian O'Hara (Richard), Brenda Salmon (Barry), Cheila Moore (Terry), Kathy Nicholson (Keith) and Ginger Marinell (Chris). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great- grandchildren.
