She is survived by: her children, Gloria Jones of Roxboro, NC, Sandra Winstead (Wayne) of Semora, NC, Shelia Stewart of Roxboro, Christine Stewart of Roxboro, Joseph Stewart (Michelle) of Roxboro, Annie Thorpe of Roxboro and Sharon Stewart of Timberlake, NC; her sister Lucille Lindsey of Rochelle, NY; her aunt Ella Bumphus; her uncle John Elbert Bumphus of Roxboro; and her close friend Mary Johnson of Roxboro. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
