She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Sterling Cunningham; her sons, Woodrow Cunningham, Winfred Cunningham, Earl Cunningham and Neal Cunningham; her parents, James Kenneth Royster and Emma Dixon Royster; and her siblings, Lillie Bumpass, Queen Gilmore, Johnny Royster and Eddie Royster.
She is survived by: her children, Mamie Whitlock, Leroy Cunningham and Elaine Wimbush of Danville, VA; and her brothers, David Royster (Edna) of Semora, NC, Roderick Royster (Ernestine) of Semora, NC, Joseph Royster of Semora, NC, Lonzy Royster of Semora, NC and Rev. Kelvin Royster (Barbara) of Semora, NC. She is also survived by several grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
