With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wren Virginia Rice of Selma, North Carolina, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on December 26, 2023 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father John Curtis Blount; her son David Joel Rice; and her granddaughter Olivia Wren Mauney. She is survived by: her mother Robin Blount of St. Paul's; her husband David Rice; her children, Raymond Rice and Robin Mauney (Shawn Mauney) of Kenly; her grandchildren, Alexa Mauney, Matthew Mauney, Delilah Mauney and Nikolai Mauney; and her sisters, Heather Oxendine (Joe Oxendine) of Lumberton, Denise Dodson (Rob Dodson) of Kenly and Amber Estella of Clayton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
