With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Winston Whitley of Selma, North Carolina, who passed away on January 16, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Melvin Whitley and Maize Whitley of Selma; his son Lorenzo Whitley Sr. (Onie); his grandsons, Lorenzo Whitley Jr. (Jamie) and Michael Whitley; his great grandchild Liliana Amina Whitley; and his close friend Mamie Watson. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held Thursday January 21, 2021 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at the Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield, N. C. Facial coverings are required along with practicing social distancing.
