He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Fields and Mary Fields; and his wife Jean Kirby of Selma, NC.. He is survived by: his children, Sara Moore (Larry) of Chesterfield, VA and Frank Fields (Mary Beth) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Jay Whitesell (Kate) and Rachel Pittman (Stan); and his great grandchildren, Kirby, Bennett, Judah Pittman, Emma Paige and Parker Whitesell.
