He was predeceased by: his parents, Mortice Joyner and Pearl Joyner; and his wife Barbara Jean Joyner. He is survived by: his sons, Philip D. Joyner of Selma and Ronald L. Joyner (Gail) of Benson; his grandchildren, Justin D. Joyner, Kevin L. Joyner, Holly D. Joyner and Jane E. Joyner; and his close friend Elaine Lowrey. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
