He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Phipps and Ruby Phipps; and his siblings, Billy Stilley, Paul Stilley, Sidney Phipps, Faye Phipps and Shirley Sellars.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Phipps; his children, Raymond Tommy Phipps (Buffy Tapp) of Smithfield and Tammy Phipps Teachey (Fred) of Rocky Point; his grandchildren, Alexa Teachey, Justus Phipps and Kale Phipps; and his sister Georgia Lassiter. He is also survived by his wife but also for his children and grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Remnant Church (2377 NC-96, Selma, NC 27576).
