He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sullivan Whitley; his children, David Whitley (Heather) of Kenly and Pamela Whitley Hendley (Jason) of Selma; his siblings, Ray Whitley of Cary and Elaine Guy of Zebulon; his grandchildren, Bryce Whitley, Garrett Whitley, Tanner Whitley, Sarah Jenkins and Elizabeth Jenkins; his stepgranddaughters, Tori Thompson and Macy Hendley; and his stepgreat-grandson Owen Thompson.
