She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Talton and Eunice Little Talton; her former husband James "Jimmy" Robert Thompson; her sister Carol; and her brother-in-law Belvin Webster.
She is survived by: her husband Johnny L. Capps; her daughters, Melissa Thompson Woodard (Robin Woodard) and Melinda Thompson Garcia (Marco Garcia); her stepdaughters, April Capps Harbaugh, Ashley Capps Blackwell (Ret) and SgtMaj Daniel Blackwell; her grandchildren, Airman First Class Alexander "AJ", Jacob Thompson, Jackson Harbaugh and Landon Bordonaro; her great grandchild Liam Thompson; her nephews, Russell Webster (Johnna Webster) and Johnny Webster; her great-nephew Michael Webster; and her great-nieces, Bethanie Rains and Sarah Moore.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parrish Funeral Home, Inc. (1351 S Pollock St, Selma, NC 27576). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Price Cemetery (1500 Pine Level Selma Rd, Selma, NC 27576).
