He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Horton and Helen Lynn Horton. He is survived by: his wife Helen St. Claire Horton; his children, Lindsey Horton Weaver (Isaac Welker) and Shannon Horton (Barbara); his grandchildren, John-Lindsay Weaver, Charlotte St. Claire Welker, Raley Horton, Kenzie Welker and Tatum Welker; his sisters, Pamela Bunch (Danny), Deborah Gray and Susan Barron; and his nieces and nephews, Christy Peterson, Abigail Gray, Brittany Poindexter, Matthew Bunch, Tyler Bunch and Zachary Barron.
