It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Samuel Wade Duffee of Selma, North Carolina, who passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Samuel departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Samuel. Though Samuel may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Wade Duffee and Mae Helen Lane Duffee; and his former wife Geneva Loudell. He is survived by: his children, Bill (Kim), Laina, Kammie (Matt), Paula (Phillip) and Jonathan; and his wife Roberta. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Union Baptist Church (6365 Church St, Chincoteague, VA 23336).
