She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Barnes and Bonnie Pieffer Barnes. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Sledge; her sons, Thomas Burney of Holly Springs, Calvin Druitt Sledge of Clayton and Jerry Lynn Burney of Benson; and her brothers, Calvin Barnes of Hopewell, VA and Terry Peiffer of Henderson. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
