He is survived by: his wife Doris; his children, Oscar Dickson, Jr. (Shelia), Teresa Gail and Dexter Dickson (Penny); his siblings, Theo Dickson of Wilmington, NC, Beverly Dickson of Leland, NC and Perry Dickson (Rebecca) of Riegelwood, NC; his sisters-in-law, Gladys (Charles) of Brooklyn, NY and Jane (Nathaniel) of Selma, NC; his grandchildren, Letitia Dickson, Ashton Dickson (Brittany), Angela Smith, Chanel Smith and Ian Smith; and his friends, Johnnie Pearce, James O'Neal, Ernie Davis, Lacy Simpson, Jr. and Steve Turrentine. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
