He is survived by: his children, Jerry Linn Royals (Jeanne) of Texas, Beth Royals Hamilton of Selma, Matthew Wayne Royals (Darlene) of South Carolina and Dean C. Royals (Sharon) of Willow Springs; his grandchildren, Sarah Royals Reeves (Tim) of Texas, Logan Royals (Amanda) of South Carolina, Lydia Royals (William) of South Carolina and Grady Royals of Willow Springs; his great grandchildren, Lily, Owen and Clara Royals; his brother Tommy Royals (Betty) of Benson; his wife Barbara Jean Royals; and his sister Doris Connor.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you may make a donation to your school or county athletic association in honor of Mr. Royals.
